Dante's Inferno

I figure a day like today pans out to be somewhere near the third level of hell. I have been "sentenced" to work in our customer communication center. This may not mean much to you who have never work on the other end of the phone in a call center, but let me promise you, this is not what I was put on earth to do. This job should be harnessed and used as some sort of POW treatment ( BTW- I have a lot more ideas for that line of thought, that would be effective and pass the Geneva Convention).

Ok, different tantrum now. I am continually amazed at the epidemic levels of incompetence in this world. And to top it off, not only does it go unnoticed but is frequently rewarded. Rewarded out of pity or for the simple fact that the supervisor doesn't want to deal with this person any more thes people get moved to higher positions and better jobs. This to me is outrageous. Somewhere along the way in our PC world, it became against the law to fire someone simply because they can't do the job. They have to be tied to some sort of sexual harassment or other illegal behavior. In the spirit of Chris Rock, whatever happened to DUMB? Can't you just fire people for being DUMB?

I have another beef but will hold that for a later date........ as I feel as though I have done the requisite bitching for today. Please excuse me, the flames are calling my name.
